With summer and warmer weather well on its way, we have been shopping. Anytime Kristin gets new clothes I always have a marathon of bow making so that she has coordinating bows and this year was no different. The only difference is that I have gone crazy this year with bow making. I have REALLY enjoyed making bows this summer with all of the bright and cheery colored ribbons. I have also recently been making jewelry. I have created a smile box that really displays a lot of my talents. ENJOY the show... you may want to mute the music on my page to get the music from the smilebox!!

Snowman

WE had lots of snow this year. Kristin made her first snowman. It was just little like her, but she had little help from anyone else!!

Kristin's Birthday!!!

Kristin had a pizza party for her birthday. All of her friends dressed up as little chefs, created their own pizza, pinned the hat on the chef and then decorated cookie chefs. They topped it all off eating their creations and the adults enjoyed a cake that was made in the shape of a chef's hat. I could not have pulled off the fun without all of the parental help. It was a blast. Thanks again for all those that helped.

Kristin best friend!!!

Not sure how I made friends when I was young, I don't recall my mom getting me around children my own age before school; no bad feelings though, I mean really there were only a dozen of us at home. Having friends was not something I ever feel like I had a lot of and the ones I did have I was very close too. When I found out I was pregnant I wanted Kristin to have friends or at least have opportunities to make friends. Kristin's best friend is KK. They enjoy going to the park together. Its helps that KK's mommma is my dear friend. She just gets me and accepts me for me. She doesn't judge her daughter is just like her which is why I am sure that Kristin likes her so much. I am sure the fact that they ride bikes together, play zhu zhu pets together watch TV together and go to the park together has nothing to do with why they are friends. Here are some pictures of K and KK at our most recent visit to the park.

Spring!!!

I am hoping to post a series of blogs. They will be in no particular order. The first is about...of course you guessed it, Kristin. Most of the time I really have nothing to say that is why it takes me months to post. Today is no different. Kristin is doing really well. She is continuing with Gymnastics and loves it. She has started going twice a week hopefully training to be on a tumble team in the next year. She on her own accord (im thinking coach may have had something to do with it) has decided that candy isn't healthy for her and threw out all of her Easter candy.. What a waste...the Easter bunny spent good money on that candy. When the Easter bunny visited he left lots of good outdoor toys. He must really know K because she LOVES to be outside. Daddy has been spending lots of time with her as he really enjoys being outside too.. He would probably kill me for one of the pictures I will post but it was just soo priceless. Kristin asked Daddy to be her prince and he willingly agreed. Here is an updated picture of her and one of my personal favorites of her in orange!! I am not sure exactly what I have taught her in the last year...I seem to have lots of pictures of her with her tongue hanging out, maybe it is just too much time with grandma's dogs!! Anyways...hope all enjoy!!

Who knew!

Let me start with a little background information. When LB was just a little bit younger, say even 8 months ago, she used to be in the kitchen with me anytime I stepped foot across the wood floor onto the tile. She and I would regularly wash dishes together. As much as I hate to admit it, it drove me crazy. LB would sit with her feet in the sink on the edge of the counter and take the water from me so that she could wash the one only and dish I would allow her to wash. I found myself often getting frustrated with having to work around her becuase I hated kitchen duty and it seemed to take so much longer with her by my side. Thinking back I remember now being so grateful in the end because of her willingness to help. I should have cherised those moments and made more of them. Today as I was cleaning the kitchen preparing for this upcoming week, I asked LB to help me do the dishes and she said "I don't fink I want to do that I am all grown up now my hands will get yucky." Who knew that the objection to chores would start so soon. She is three people. Three I tell ya. Anyhow. Who knew?

Happy Birthday Hubby!!!

Hubby just celebrated his 33rd birthday. It was special to have some family in from Arizona. Little bits helped grandma make daddy's birthday cake. She did such a great job. Anytime we go to visit papaw and grandma Little bits always wants to help grandma cook. Grandma is very patient with her and allows her to do most of the cooking. Daddy got money for his birthday so that he could get a couple of tools but instead of just having a card with money in it. He got several cards that had money it them. Some of them had three or four dollars and some had more and one card just had 33 cents in it. LB wanted to contribute. She went to her piggy bank and brought me two dollars that she wanted to give daddy for his birthday. Happy Birthday sweetheart. I am so glad that you are here with us.

Our trip to the Sosa's, Gilmer, Yamboree

You don't have to know me well to know that I really hate to drive but how can you turn down an offer to go see the bestie and spend some time at a county fair/carnival. Friday morning I was supposed to go in and have an upper GI done but because there was a possiblity that I would be pregnant they wouldn't let me...before anybody asks...NO...I am not pregnant it is just that we are trying so they wouldn't do radiation at that moment. Anyhow. After I left the hospital I went to breakfast with my hubby, packed the car and headed to Gilmer. It is about a three hour drive and I was really dreading it with Little Bits. I could imagine the trip down there with 110 "are we there yets?" I was however blessed. I pulled out of my house at 12:15 by 12:30 Little Bits was asleep and I was there by 2:45 and Little Bits got up at 2:15. I only heard about 5 whines of when we were finally going to be at Licia's. It was good to spend time with my friend. Being so far apart and living our different lives, we both have become different people. I did have a great time catching up. So much has happened in our lives. While at the Yamboree I allowed little bits to ride a couple rides(althought I am pretty sure the inspection was expired. it said it expired 10-2009), we ate yummy food and we had a great time just chilling on the courthouse lawn. After sitting for a while and being too cheap to allow little bits any more rides she grew bored. While trying to keep her entertained we had a little accident. We were playing chase and it was my turn to chase. As I began chasing her we were having a great time. I am sure everyone could hear her giggling and I felt good playing with her. That is when it all changed......I reached out to tag her, tripped on a hose on the lawn. Instead of tagging her I pushed into the concrete and fell right on top of her. I tried desperately to catch my fall as to not fall on her but hit the pavement pretty hard myself. I scratched my glasses and hurt my wrist. I have been sore for the past several days. Little bits survived!! Although I was pretty concerned when I saw her ouchy because it was right above her eye, looked already black and blue and looked a little sucken in. After about twenty mintues of crying Adam (the hubby of the bestie) offered little bits a blessing. Within minutes of the blessing she was up running and jumping again. "The presithood is restored...." I always feel like singing that when I see the blessings of preisthood blessings. Back at the house and on our way back out to the Yamboree I was reminded..."Mommy you can't chase me today because I don't want to fall." so much for good memories I guess. Before we left I was sure to get a picture of little bits and the Sosa's. We had a great time and I did it. I drove it all by myself.

staying busy....

Little Bits is our world. As I have previously gloated, she is learning so much and doing a lot of things ahead of her time. There are times however that she is very much three. I love when I try to take pictures of her and all I get are silly faces. Once in a while she will really just smile. I am posting some pictures of her.

I recently attended a baby shower and this(pictured) is what my gift was to the mommy to be. I really enjoy making diaper cakes. They can be a lot of fun and they are something very different and unique. Next blog... Our visit to Gilmer...

Pictures as promised.

In a good place...

To any of those wondering what the Sundberg's most recent news is read ahead. I know its been forever. Sorry!! I will spare you all the excuses.
Just thought I would take a few minutes and update
everyone on how this family of Sundbergs are doing. Just a few short days ago Hubby celebrated his 33rd birthday and is feeling pretty good about this one
as he just completed his Master Security Officer training and was offered a promotion; however, we will keep all the details under wraps until it happens.
Please Pray!!! He stays pretty busy with the house, Little bits and work.

Little bits...where do we start? Little Bits is 3.5 years old.
She is our little smarty pants. She recognizes her alphabet in any order: by sight and also by phonetic sound. She counts to 20 with out any help and just this week learned to make a 'K' so she now can write her name minus the 's.' It still looks like a squiggly line. Just this past Saturday Little Bits had her first gymnastic performance in public and did a great job. Her gym also just had awards week where here she has completed her level one balance beam. I'll post some pictures. Little Bits gets compliments from her coaches about how great her form is. As for me, I am busy with work and with the young women of our ward. With everything that is going on I try to keep the house a float. Thank goodness I have a great spouse. Recently I have been struggling with some very personal issues that have kept Hubby and I from conceiving over the past two years. I am now on a new medication from a new diagnosis. Good news is that it is "supposed" to help us get another baby here; although the plan for the last two years has been to conceive I have come along way. I have struggled with how I would feel if I never have another child. Without going into too much detail I am in a good place. I am no longer blaming myself or dealing with all the emotions that come with being told "you might never conceive again." In the past two weeks I have come to grips. If we have another child what a blessing that would be from our Father in Heaven but if we do not, I can handle that too. I know that my Heavenly Father knows be personally and He knows the desires of my heart and whether or not they are His desires too only time will tell. That's the good news. The bad news is that the 'helpful' meds makes me very ill and I have really had to count on my visiting teacher and family to get things done. Thanks to all who have listened to me cry and complain over the last several months, its because you that...I'm in a good place.

Our Anniversary!!

I finally have been to the Gaylord Texan!!! Hubby and I have always done things a little different than most. Instead of really celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary we went all out for our 4th wedding anniversary. To be honest we have never been in a financial position to do anything for our anniversary so we made up for it. We really needed the time away to reconnect. Hubby suprised me to dinner at the Melting Pot. If you have never been there I totally suggest that you go. I find my self easily distracted when I go to restaurants so Hubby got a secluded booth for us and the service was FANTASTIC!! I wont destroy anybody's experience but sit in the light. It was difficult to see whether or not our food was cooked because we were in the dark. Still check it out!! At the Gaylord we at the the most fabulous places. We had breakfast at the riverwalk cafe and we had lunch at the Texas Station. So Yummy. It was a great weekend. I can hardly wait to take Little Bits. There are so many great photo opportunities.

There is more to come.

I have blogs started following these topics: Easter, our trip to the lake, visiting the Science Place, dad and me, the inlaws, new car new house, tennis, our puppies and our anniversary. Im running way behind. More pictures to come.

I decided...

to update my blog simply by the pictures I find on my camera card. We have been spending a lot of time as a family because daddy got a new job (hopefully his last for a while, please pray for us). Daddy is working as a correctional officer for Cooke County Sheriff Department. Although he has a little commute to work he is home a lot more than he used to be and little bits is throughly enjoying the time. Daddy has taken little bits to the jump house several times and these are just a few of those pictures of my little girl that has absolutely NO FEAR. Here are a couple more pictures of Little Bits birthday when she patiently waiting with her uncle Tay to blow out the candles.

I should be better.

Here are some premlinary pictures of Little Bits in her dance costumes. Pictures of the recital to come. I'll update the blog to our happenings soon but for now I will just post some pictures.

From disappointment to excitment...all in a days work!!

Most of you guys know we were in the process of buying a home. It was beautiful 1762 square feet, fenced in backyard and fabulous kitchen. I won't go into the details, let us just say that it wasn't meant to be. About five days from closing and as we continued to pray we got a different feeling than we first got and quickly backed out. As we were trying to decide whether to stay in our apt or move, I started looking for places to move. I found an awesome apartment with great ammenities for less money and more space than we were paying for now. I went and looked at it loved it and leased it. The apartments were dragging their feet and were not quite sure that they would have a vacancey for the floor plan that we both loved and need. Without all the boring details, I continued looking bc I wasn't quite at ease. On Wednesday last week I looked out my office window and noticed that the duplex across the street was for rent. I went to go look and it was beautiful with more space a tad more money and a big privacy fenced in back yard. I talked it over with Hubby, prayed about it and wrote our new landlord a check. On the same day Hubby received some very exciting news....he will post a blog on that at a later date. We got the deposit back from the apartment and here are pictures of our new place before we moved anything in. I will also include some of Hubby and Little bits learning to ride a bike and our Christmas eve with the family dancing in the living room floor.
